Gregory Duarte

Gregory L. Duarte, 59, of Hilo, died June 25 at The Queen's Medical Center. Born March 12, 1952, in Hilo, he was a retired diesel mechanic and member of The New Hope Christian Fellowship in Hilo, Hui Makai Motorcycle Club and Elvis Rock-A-Hula Baby Fan Club.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. July 7 at New Hope Christian Fellowship in Hilo for a 6 p.m. celebration of life. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

He is survived by wife, Lorraine Duarte, of Hilo; daughter, Gaylynne (Michael) Pakani, of Hilo; brothers, Antone (Evelyn) Duarte, Wesley (Verna) Duarte, both of Hilo; a grandson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Juana Antonio

Juana Prudencio Antonio, 76, of Kapaau, died June 27 at her residence. Born June 11, 1935, in Camaling Tarlac, Philippines, she was a housekeeper for the former Sheraton Waikoloa Hotel, a member of the Kohala Senior Citizens Group, Kohala Rosary Group, Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a participant of Relay for Life.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. July 8 at the family's residence at 53-4070 Kolonahe St. in Kapaau for an all-night vigil. Friends may also call at 8 a.m. July 9 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial follows in the church's cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

She is survived by sons, Efren (Betty) Antonio, Allan (Erlinda) Antonio, Joseph (Jocelyn) Antonio Jr., all of Kapaau; daughters, Segunda (Tom) Antonio-Diaz, Arlyn (Joseph) Antonio-Idrigue, both of Kapaau; brother, Edro (Loly) Prudencio, of Philippines; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Priscilla Cuaresma

Priscilla T. Cuaresma, 94, of Honokaa, died June 13 at home. Born in Philippines, she was a retired business proprietor.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. July 8 at 73-1138 Kaiminani Drive, Kailua-Kona, for a 6 p.m. wake. Fried may call at 8 a.m. July 9 at St. Michael's Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows at Kona Memorial Park.

She is survived by son, Benjamin (Suzy) Cuaresma, of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Loretta (Mark) Hayes, of Lubbock, Texas, Blescilda (John) Costa, of Ahualoa, Marian (Greg) Baquiring, of Kailua, Oahu, Remie (Joe) Hickey, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister, Benigna Asuncion, of Stockton, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
